Imagine days and nights of pure photographic immersion designed to inspire you. This is a chance to slow down, connect deeply with nature, seascapes, landscapes, lighthouses, night skies and more. Come grow as a photographer in the company of mentors who care about your journey. Our small group size allows every question to be answered, every image considered, and every moment infused with inspiration.

  • Focus stacking landscapes

  • Focus stacking interesting subjects

  • Pareidolia

  • Live ND

  • Live Time

  • Live Composite

  • Graduated Live ND

  • High Res

  • HDR

  • Dramatic Tone & other Art filters, etc.

  • Possible: Star Trails, Starry Sky AF, Night Vision LV

  • Monday August 3rd

    • Check in to Hotel

    • 4pm Dinner (food not included in workshop)

    • 6-8:30pm Sunset and blue hour photography (sunset ~7:55pm)

  • Tuesday August 4th

    • 5-9am Sunrise and Golden Light (~5:30 am sunrise)

    • Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch (food not included in workshop)

    • Landscapes ~1-4pm

    • 4pm Dinner (food not included in workshop)

    • 6-8pm Sunset photography (sunset ~7:55pm)

  • Monday August 5th

    • 5-9am Sunrise and Golden Light (~5:30 am sunrise)

    • Lunch and image discussion 12 noon (food not included in workshop)

Things to bring:

  • Camera

    • All camera models are welcome, but you may wish to try an OM SYSTEM camera for the star trails — as the starry sky AF, Night Vision, and Live Composite are very unique and amazing technologies.

  • Lenses

    • Widest/fastest lens you have. Ideally, a f2.8 or faster lens for milky way, although f4 lenses are fine for but bring whichever are the widest and faster lenses that you have

    • 70-200, 50-200, 40-150, or similar lens for streams and such

  • ALL of your camera batteries

  • Sturdy Tripod

  • Cable Release

  • Optional ND (neutral density) filter (if you do not have one you can still attend -- you will be able to do most of the things, just not long exposures or cloud stacking)

Optional things to bring (if you have them, not required)

  • Close-Up filter (if you have them, not required)

  • Macro lens (60mm, 90mm 100mm, or 105mm macro, etc) (if you have them, not required)

  • Stool
